Disconnected HVAC Exhaust Vent Found After Roof Repairs
During a recent Repair Verification Inspection, we identified an issue that could have gone unnoticed for some time: the HVAC exhaust connector was disconnected in the attic.
This condition appeared to have occurred after recent roof repairs. A disconnected exhaust vent can allow combustion gases to discharge into the attic rather than vent safely to the exterior.
Findings like this highlight the importance of having repairs verified by a qualified inspector. Confirming that corrections were completed properly can help prevent safety concerns and avoid costly issues down the road.
